Terrier Group Dog Breeds

The Terrier Group is the pest controllers of the canine world. Their ancestors were bred to hunt and kill rodents and vermin. An expressive facial structure and unique appearance provides The Terrier Group with a great deal of personality. They are well known for being alert, energetic and self-confident. They are inclined to act first and think afterwards, always eager for a spirited argument. A few are still used as working terriers, and some are large enough to be kept as guard dogs. Many Terriers have wiry coats that need special grooming.
